Mike’s on the Water

Restauranteur Mike LeFever, asked me to create art to match the vibe of his waterfront restaurant - I worked as a waitress for Mike and Tommy Lefevre at “Jack’s” while I was in college.  Years later, while dining at Mike’s on the Water, I saw nautical destination signs on his outdoor deck and told him I could do better.  Mike told me to come see him at the end of the week.  Since then, I’ve painted many destination signs, murals, and sculptures for his restaurant, including a bust of Mike.  His restaurant is filled with much of my art work.  I love working with Mike.  He gave me a lot of direction, but with freedom, and he loved everything I created.
